Violin Art Project & Auction
February 18th, 2006
What does one do with violins no longer repairable? Make them into art pieces! The Community Music Center in Portland, OR has given old, unrepairable violins to artists to create new works of art.
On Feb. 18th, 2006, an auction for these fanciful pieces took place at Pacific Northwest College of Art, with the proceeds benefiting CMC.
The show was on display at PNCA for one month, beginning January 20th, 2006.
